My goodness, time just flies by! Summer is well over and I'm continuing to plow through my schedule between work,
teaching private lessons, rehearsals and performances. Unfortunately, the latest news is not so positive. The Hawaiian
band project that I was working on with a friend of mine didn't work out. I hoped it would, but I guess things just weren't
meant to be. Also, I quit my regular teaching job at the preschool and decided to bring my English teaching career to a close.
I will miss the children and had many memories. I decided that I am in my last stretch here in Japan to reach my music goals,
so I'd rather be poor but free to take any jobs or auditions. I'm still performing regularly and have a big hula show coming
up on 10/22. I'll continue to try my best...many thanks as always for your support and encouragement!
